Craft Village at Moose Lake for a unique fall festival and pumpkin carving

Indoor Park — One
popular activity in Fort Wayne is the Sky Zone, an indoor trampoline park. Kids
can have a great time burning energy with dodgeball, a sky-ladder, and a
free-jump. You can also find an occasional black-light music party on weekends.
Arts and Crafts — Painting
with a Twist provides step-by-step art instruction, so you don’t have to be an
expert in painting to enjoy yourself. Adults can even enjoy some wine and beer
while they learn how to create landscapes.
Outdoor Fun — Franke
Park is a local hotspot for sledding. It’s open year-round and it’s known for
its playground and hiking paths, but if you look behind the tree line you’ll
find a huge hill for sledding. Headwaters Park Ice Skating area is nearby, which
is perfect for a romantic outing. Kids are welcome, of course.

The Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory is going back in time this year to celebrate Christmas before the turn of the century. The Conservatory will be decorated with candles and handmade décor with a distinctly Victorian feel. The display is open Tuesdays through Sundays through Jan. 6.
Christmas at Home
Visit the historic Swinney Homestead and enjoy a Christmas tea with the Swinney Sisters. The homestead will be open and fully decorated for Christmas from Dec. 7-8. There will be a fun gift shop on the second floor if you are looking for some unique gifts. Tickets are required in advance.
Christmas Festival of Lights at Moose Lake
Moose Lake will be decked out for the Christmas season and is open for tours through Dec. 22. Thousands of lights will illuminate the historic village. Inside Mackey’s General Store there will be music, Christmas trees, and more decorations. Santa will be there to visit with the kids.
